History and Mission of the CDA
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, founded with faith, spirituality, and service principles, strives to embody "Unity and Charity" in all its endeavors. Our court, #2770 Mary, Undoer of Knots, meets monthly to support parish and community members in need. Our mission is to embrace the principle of faith working through love, promoting justice, equality, and human dignity for all. This integration of spirituality and service forms the foundation of the CDA, helping women develop their spirituality while providing avenues to live out that spirituality through charitable acts.


CDA Organization Highlight: Activities and Projects
This month's CDA Organization Highlight showcases the various activities and service projects led by our committed members. Court #2770 is actively involved in various service projects that significantly impact our community. Some of our past projects include sponsoring youth to diocesan summer camps, collecting and donating items to charitable organizations such as Mary's House and the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home, and hosting events like a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser and a Lenten Mission. Additionally, we have supported local children with high medical needs, sponsored Bingo games at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home, and organized social events like the Pairs and Spares social and Kids' Game Night/Parents' Night Out. These activities reflect our commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.

Getting Involved with the CDA

By reading our CDA Organization Highlight, you will understand how the Catholic Daughters of the Americas contribute to our parish and the broader community.

If you are a Catholic woman aged 18 or older, we invite you to join Court #2770 and become part of this vibrant community dedicated to spirituality and service. Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the parish hall.

Please RSVP with Regent Stacy Carpenter at 719-640-1265. Even if you cannot attend the monthly meetings, you can still support our ministry through dues, donations, and participation in service projects.
